Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.
We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.
Specifically:
Manage and perform all aspects of facilities maintenance and building systems management including HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and General Upkeep.
Assess facility maintenance issues to determine when licensed contractors are necessary; ensure closure on all problems with contractors in a timely manner.
Manage maintenance technician(s) daily tasks to assist in performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
Lead projects for facilities improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance to all fire, safety, and EHS requirements.
Requirements:
5 years experience in facilities management for 24x7 operations
BS in Engineering is preferred
Experience with high voltage 480v electrical distribution in an industrial environment
Strong project management skills
Strong English communication skills to interface with contractors and to report to management
